marks loose and open. always space between; layers of density that has memory attached — presence. absence. opening. echo. residue.

A collaboration with the Land Trust of North Alabama that brings contemporary painting into conversation with the natural landscapes of North Alabama.

Experience Canopy

Come stand quietly beside nature.

It was always my intention to create a space — a moment where one could sit and be immersed in art, in nature, and in one’s own presence among them.

We’re sorry that you cannot join us on the 15th for the Opening Night Preview of CANOPY.

On the afternoon of Friday, October 16, I’ll be opening the exhibition for six private viewing sessions — an opportunity to experience the collection quietly, and to spend a little time together amongst the work.

You’re welcome to bring up to four guests to enjoy the private viewing with you.

Please use the booking form below to reserve your session.

Occasional notes from inside the process.

If something here stirred something in you - beyond a note- you’re welcome to write to me directly:

See A Little More

Tucked atop the beautiful Monte Sano, Little Green Gallery in Huntsville offers a place to see Charlotte Marie Isbell’s oil paintings in person, perhaps as part of a day spent in the rejuvenating energy of this beloved, protected landscape.

For a limited time, a curated selection of framed prints from her early Les Femmes series is also available exclusively through Anthropologie.
